About the Platinum Academy Hairdressing College

The Platinum Academy Hairdressing College was established in 1989.

The college was formed on the back of the long running successful Northern College of Beauty. We had identified that to continue to be market leaders in training that we had to diversify in to other key areas of the Industry.

This led us to setting up a purpose built hairdressing studio. We have a team, of well experienced professionals who run a wide range of hairdressing and barbering courses to suit all levels of skill.

As we have a unique relationship with the areas funding organisations this allows us to offer NVQ, VCTC and other recognised qualifications to our student at part funded rates.
